Family
The HSAO Family Focus Group is a parent support and education group open to
all parents of children who receive case management from the RTF Group, the LIFE
Project, Blended Service Coordination and Juvenile Justice Related Services. The group meets
monthly to discuss the challenges of parenting children with behavioral health
issues, and to learn effective parenting techniques from experienced mental
health professionals. Each monthly meeting zeroes in on a topic that members
have expressed an interest in learning more about. Family Focus Group meetings
are held on the second Monday of each month from 6-8 p.m. Food is provided and
coordination of transportation and child care is available upon request.
If you are interested in participating or would like more information about
the Family Focus Group, please contact your mental health specialist at HSAO.
