Justice Related Services
The Justice Related Services Program is housed at the Allegheny County Department of Human Services,
Division of Behavioral Health, and includes five programs: Justice Related
Services Diversion,
Justice Related Services Forensic Support, Justice Related Services State Support, CROMISA (Community Re-integration of
Offenders with Mental Illness and Substance Abuse) and Justice Related Services Mental Health Court.
Justice Related Services Specialists assigned to these programs provide direct and indirect
services for clients who have mental illness and are involved in the criminal
justice system. Justice Related Services provides intensive case management for
a specified period until the consumer is linked to community supports. Justice
Related Services serves over 500 consumers every year.
