State Forensic Support
Justice Related State Support Services provides case management for persons with mental
illness referred from the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections at the
expiration of a maximum prison sentence for up to 90 days after release from a
State Correctional Institution. Services include contingency funds for food,
clothing, transportation and working with the local Service Coordination Units
and other community provider to ensure a smooth transition into the community or
to a state hospital, if necessary.
